We're getting married
5th & 6th December 2026
Saturday & Sunday · Debu's The Fern Resort, Jim Corbett
Two years on, we're asking the people we love most to come and stand with us in a forest in Uttarakhand for two days in December.
The baraat leaves from Lucknow on the Saturday. Everything we know so far is on this page, and we'll keep adding to it as the dates get closer — so do come back. For now, the one thing that would really help us is knowing whether you can make it.
Our story
From one accidental hit…
to a lifetime together.
One
A Sunday evening, a full court, and two people who had not yet met.

Two
Harsh went for a winner. Rhea took it squarely on the shoulder. The rally ended there — everything else started.

Three
One bar of chocolate, offered with the most sincere face he could manage. Accepted — eventually.

Four
The games kept happening. So did the long conversations on the bench afterwards.

Five
Somewhere between the walks and the coffees, neither of us was pretending it was about pickleball any more.

Six
He asked. She said yes. The ball, mercifully, was nowhere in sight.

The celebration
Everything happens at Debu's The Fern Resort. Rooms are held from the Saturday through to checkout on Monday morning, so you needn't rush away.
Saturday · December 2026
Arrive, settle in, and then straight into it — the day runs from late morning until late at night.
Muhurat all day
Sunday · December 2026
A long and full day — the baraat in the morning, the phere at midday, and then an evening that runs as late as you like.
Muhurat 11:00 am – 1:45 pm
Getting there
Most of the family will travel together with the baraat on the Saturday morning. If you'd rather make your own way, here's the shape of it.
Lucknow to Ramnagar is around 400 km and takes about nine hours with one proper break, via Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Rampur and Bazpur.
The baraat travels together — say so on your RSVP if you'd like a seat rather than driving yourself.
Ramnagar (station code RMR) is the railhead for Corbett, about 15 km from the park gates and a short drive from the resort.
Tell us your train and arrival time on your RSVP and we'll arrange a pickup.
Pantnagar is the nearest airport at roughly 100 km, but flights there are cancelled often enough that we wouldn't rely on it.
If you're flying in from further afield, Delhi is the dependable choice, then drive.
Where we're staying
Everyone stays on site — the ceremonies, the meals and the rooms are all in one place, so there's no running between venues. Rooms are held from Saturday the 5th through to Monday the 7th. There's nothing for you to book and nothing to pay.

Afterwards
This is where the photographs and films will live once we're back — yours as well as ours. Nothing to see yet, but the page will be waiting.
Practical things
One small thing
Three taps, and it means we can hold your room. Please use the personal link from your invitation message so we know it's you.
We'd love to know by 20 October.
